Indeed, our happiness and our unhappiness is very infectious. One of the best ways to affect our own happiness is by making people around us happy. Therefore, it stands to reason that we owe it both to ourselves and to others around us to be as happy as possible.

Among its many definitions, perhaps the best description of happiness is being at one with yourself and having a sense that things are going well. Practicing gratitude and looking for the good in everything are two very effective strategies to achieve that sense of positive well-being.

In my humble opinion, we should not pursue happiness, we should be happy.

It is kind of like the old thing about trying. Lay a pencil on the table and try to pick it up. I did not say pick it up, I said try to pick it up.

I know that it is splitting hairs but for one to pursue something, they may never achieve the goal.

Things that happen are not good or bad. It is by our perception that we decide if they are good or bad. We, as a people, have a hard time trying to determine the difference between a calamity and a miracle when something happens.

Life is too short for us to not enjoy it.

Life is as good as I allow it to be.
